CIDTUR Peru organizes II FINTUR Green Edition this Friday

Center for development, research and innovation in tourism (CIDTUR), as part of their International forum for tourism (FINTUR), organizes second FINTUR Green Edition this Friday, 21st of September. Event will take place in Center for cultural interpretation in Cieneguilla, one of the districts of the capital Lima.
This year’s topic “Commitment of tourism againts the climate change” goes in line with the latest global concerns and tries to analyze the role of tourism in these processes. During the event various good practices from South America and Europe will be examined.
Event will bring together different important subjects in the South American tourism of which the most important for sure will be the presence of the Minister of the External Affairs and Tourism of Peru, Mr. Rogers Valencia Espinoza. Other notable speakers are Susana Conde Rey from GSTC, David Vicent Gandia founder of Fractal ingeneria turistica from Spain, Tatiana la Madrid Iglesias from the regional government of Loreto Peru, Carlos Canales Anchorena president of the National chamber of tourism of Peru and Emilio Chavez Huaringa vice-president of Latinamerican federation of touristic cities. During the day will be presented different innovative projects in tourism from the universities in Spain and Peru.
Academic partners of this year’s edition are University Santiago de Compostela from Spain, National university from Avellaneda Argentina, Peruvian university of applied sciences, Le cordon bleu, San Ignacio de Loyola and Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, all three from Peru. Among various institutional partners, some of the most renewed are MINCETUR, CANATUR, FEINPRETUDI, Latinamerican federation of touristic cities, Association of touristic cities of Peru.
Organizers expect more than 300 participants from public and private bodies in travel industry. FITUR Green Edition is one of six formats established within FINTUR and focuses on sustainable management of tourism activities.
